This property is unique in that it sits between two lakes, creating a beautiful and distinctive natural setting. The client has been renovating the house, and I have been developing the landscaping in phases over the past couple of years to complement those improvements.
Much of the planting was installed recently, and I look forward to adding more photos as the garden matures and fills in. The client developed a strong interest in native plants and was passionate about making the property a showcase for them.
As you can imagine, this provided a wonderful opportunity to create a landscape that highlights the beauty and ecological value of native plantings while enhancing the natural character of the site.
Spring 2025 I started working on the septic mound. A rather challenging piece of the property, not only for planting on the septic system, but the mound itself occupied a good part of the back property. Luckily, the septic system was self-contained, and that allowed for more plant variation for the design and installation.
